Nick Schwen netted 21 points and five rebounds as the Brainerd Warriors won their second straight with a 75-67 win over Bemidji Tuesday.
Kobe Ahonen posted 15 points and five boards and Grant Reuer and Isaiah Smith each scored 13 for the 4-3 Warriors.
Smith added eight boards and Logan Madsen, who scored nine points, finished with 11 rebounds.
“We had a lack of energy tonight following an emotional game against Rogers the night before,” Warriors coach Scott Stanfield said. “Our kids appeared to be tired, but with that being said we gave a great effort to secure a win against a section opponent.
“Our two post players, Nick Schwen and Kobe Ahonen, had great games and stabilized us the entire night. Isaiah smith had nine assists to go along with 15 points.
“Logan Madsen continued to play well at the point and finished with nine points and was 4 for 4 from the line down the stretch. Grant Reuer started his first game coming off a sprained ankle and finished with 11 points.”
