Pequot Lakes graduates Emily and Mattie Lueck and the College of St. Benedict women’s basketball team will conduct a clinic for area youths and the Blazers will practice Saturday, Oct. 19, at Pequot Lakes High School.
The clinic will be from 10 a.m. to noon. The Blazers will practice, which is open to the public, from 2 to 4 p.m.
In 2012-13, Emily Lueck appeared in 26 games for St. Benedict. The 5-9 junior wing averaged 3.8 points, shot .429 from the field and averaged 1.2 rebounds.
In 2011-12, Emily played in all 25 games for the Blazers, averaging 11.5 minutes. She averaged 4.6 points and 1.6 rebounds. Lueck scored a career-high nine points in a win against St. Scholastica.
As a freshman, Mattie Lueck made the MIAC All-Rookie Team. The 6-foot forward played in 27 games, averaged 5.1 points and shot .667 from the free throw line.
