BEMIDJI — Katie White scored 16 points for the No. 2 seeded Pequot Lakes Patriots as they beat the third-seeded Crosby-Ironton Rangers 55-42 in Saturday’s Northeast Subsection 8-2A semifinals at Bemidji State University.
Kayla Miller followed with 14 points and Vanessa Lane added 11 points and 13 rebounds for Pequot, which has won four straight and rebounded from a 77-72 overtime loss to C-I Feb. 18.
Meredith Silgen scored a team-high 16 points for the Rangers, who finished the season 13-15.

McGregor — Megan Felthous kick started the East Subsection 5-1A semifinals game for the No. 2 seeded Pine River-Backus Tigers as she scored 20 first-half points and totaled 24 in Saturday’s 83-45 win over third-seeded East Central.
Tatum Sheley scored all 15 of her points in the first half and added 13 assists.
Brittany Kelley and Autumn Ackerman each scored 13 points and Ackerman tallied a team-high nine rebounds for PR-B, who will face Isle in the subsection championship game Tuesday.

Kelly Pearson notched 16 points and Jaelin Beachy added 10 for the Cardinals, who advance to face Sauk Centre in the North Subsection 6-2A championship.
Sauk Centre has knocked S-M out of the playoffs the last three seasons.

W-DC (18-9), which beat Hawley 34-33 during the regular season, has now won seven straight and will face Pelican Rapids in the Southwest Subsection championship 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at Concordia College in Moorhead.

DULUTH — The Aitkin Gobblers saw its four-game winning streak and its season end Saturday as Milaca eliminated them 40-33 during Saturday’s Section 7-2A quarterfinals at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
Mikayla Michaletz notched eight points and 15 rebounds for the Gobblers, who ended the season 21-7.
