FERGUS FALLS — Anthony Phillipson improved to 30-4 by winning the 106-pound weight class in the Section 8-2A individual tournament Saturday.
Drey Loge absorbed his first loss of the season but still qualified for state with a second-place finish at 145.
Blake Miller of Staples-Motley was champion at 126 while improving his record to 32-9. Fellow Cardinal Jordan Heldman was champion at 170 while raising his record to 32-5.
Phillipson, Loge, Miller, and Heldman will wrestle in the Class 2A state tournament on Friday-Saturday at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
