PLYMOUTH — Daniel Newton registered 30 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals to help the Lake Region Christian Hornets beat Chisago 56-47 and advance to the MACS Consolation final Friday.
Hayden Brooks added 10 points, 11 rebounds and three blocked shots for the 11-12 Hornets, who fell to Heritage 52-42 in Thursday’s quarterfinal round.
Newton scored 29 points to go with four rebounds and four steals in the loss.
