The Brainerd Warriors will host eight schools for the Section 8-3A individual tournament Friday and Saturday in the Brainerd High School gym.
Little Falls, Alexandria, Bemidji, Moorhead, St. Cloud Tech and Apollo, Sartell and Sauk Rapids will join the Warriors. The top two finishers in each weight class advance to the 3A state tournament March 1-2 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
Brainerd’s Dan Babineau, Jace Engelmann and Levi Rubin are returning state entrants. Connor Scherping is Little Falls’ only returning state entrant.
Admission Friday is $8 for adults, $5 for students. Saturday’s admission prices are $9 for adults, $6 for students.
Tickets go on sale at 4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday.
