The Brainerd Baxter Fast--Pitch Softball Association will hold tryouts for spring/summer 14-U travel teams at 6 p.m. March 4 and 7 at the Forestview Middle School gym in Baxter.
Girls age 14 or younger as of 1-1-2013, but not younger than 11 years old, are eligible to try out for competitive travel teams that will play in Metro or St. Cloud area leagues, and in tournaments.
A parent informational meeting will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Brainerd High School South Campus, Room 103.
Pre-registration for tryouts is not necessary. Just show up with gym clothes, gym shoes, and glove. Bring your own bat and helmet if you have one.
Parents will need to be present at tryouts for a short time to fill out necessary paperwork.
