The Brainerd Warriors are seeded second and the Northern Lakes Lightning ninth in the Section 8-2A tournament.
The Lightning will open against No. 8 River Lakes at Richmond at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
The other Saturday opening-round game will send No. 10 Becker-Big Lake against No. 7 Monticello-Annandale-Maple Lake at 7 p.m. at Monticello.
The Becker-BL/Monticello/A-ML winner plays at Brainerd in the quarterfinals at 7 p.m. Feb. 19.
Other 7 p.m. quarterfinal games Feb. 19 send the River Lakes/Northern Lakes winner to No. 1 Moorhead, No. 5 St. Cloud Tech to No. 4 Bemidji and No. 6 Buffalo to No. 3 Roseau.
Semifinals are 7 p.m. Feb. 23 at the high seeds.
Championship game is 7 p.m. Feb. 28 at Thief River Falls or Bemidji State or St. Cloud State.
