Mount Ski Gull fundraiser Saturday
Mount Ski Gull will host a fundraiser to “Light Up the Nights,” with proceeds going toward the purchase and installation of new lights at the hill.
“Light Up the Nights” will start at noon Saturday, Feb. 16, at Mount Ski Gull in East Gull Lake. For a $20 entry fee, participants can race against others in respective age and gender divisions. Medals and ribbons will be awarded. A lift ticket and helmet are required to participate.
To pre-register, email jojocollins4@gmail.com. Same day registration is also available from 10-11:30 a.m. at Mount Ski Gull.
All ages and ability levels are welcome.

But what about my individual " freedom " ?
Is this some new government regulation being forced upon us by a bloated over reaching government . No one enforces the helmet regulations in this state except Camp Ripley anyway.
Whats next , a no weapons allowed sign @ the ski area ?
What if a Moose runs out onto the slopes and attacks me when Im unarmed ?, will a 14 round clip stop a 1200 lb Moose .
Why mess around , Im ordering a helmet ,body armour , AR -15 and a case of ammo on the Internet .
Its always better to be safe .

didn't have a helmet on when he fell outta the jeep years ago. Thats why he is this way now.
