LITTLE FALLS — Little Falls’ Rachelle LeBlanc won every event and the all-around title, but Brainerd swept all the second and third places to defeat the Flyers 134.175-127 Thursday in the final dual meet of the season for the Warriors.
Mikayla Cerney placed second on the uneven parallel bars, balance beam and all-around. Also coming in second were Jackie Caughey in floor exercise and Millie Klefsaas on vault.
“We had a good night on the bars tonight and we were pretty good on the vault,” said Brainerd coach Dave Maras. “So, it was a pretty good meet for us. We just need a little more consistency.”
Brainerd finishes the dual meet season 5-3 and travels to Willmar Feb. 9 for the Central Lakes Conference meet. Little Falls wraps up its dual meet season Tuesday at Long Prairie-Grey Eagle.
