Sierra Benning of Central Lakes College was named the Northern Division women’s basketball player of the week ending Jan. 26.
Benning, a 5-4 sophomore from Clarissa, averaged 14 points and 10 assists in leading CLC (5-1 North) to a pair of division wins. Benning added 6 steals and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 50 percent from the field.
