BELGRADE — Class 1A’s eighth-ranked Pierz Pioneers added two more wins to their 21-straight dual meet win streak Tuesday with a 69-7 win over Howard Lake and a 46-25 win over Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa.
Josh Lanners recorded to pins to lead a group of seven Pierz wrestlers who swept their matches.

■ Novak, Gobblers win two at Royalton
ROYALTON — Jared Novak improved his season record to 19-3 as he picked up a pair of wins by pin, including his 75th career win, and the Aitkin Gobblers defeated Royalton 43-29 and Browerville 64-9 in a pair of non-conference matches Tuesday.
Tyler Bare also won both of his matches by pins, while Kenny Hesse, Dan Nordean, Caleb Curtis and Brian Wold all finished 2-0.
Wold is 22-3 for the season.

Park Rapids — The Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines earned a split, while the Crosby-Ironton Rangers dropped a pair of duals in Tuesday’s Park Rapids triangular.
The Wolverines defeated Crosby-Ironton 43-27 and lost to Park Rapids 56-21. The Rangers also fell to the Panthers 54-28.
Wadena-Deer Creek’s Sam Waln finished 2-0 and raised his season record to 15-3, Tristin Goebel went 1-0 to move his season record to 12-6. Blaine Snyder recorded his first career win.
Calen Kreitter finished 2-0 and now stands at 22-4 for the season. Caleb Voss also swept his two matches to climb to 18-4.
