WADENA — Wadena-Deer Creek senior Mitchell Swanson recorded his 100th career point in Tuesday’s 10-1 win against Breckenridge/Wahpeton.
Swanson became the 14th member of the Wolverines’ 100-point club with a hat trick and assist.
It was also a big night for W-DC senior Bridger Pettit, who tied the school record with eight points in a game (2 goals, 6 assists). He’s one point away from joining Swanson in the 100-point club. Swanson broke the school record with eight points Jan. 4 against Greenway.
Also Tuesday, Christian Berg and Jake Krause each scored two goals for W-DC. Berg added three assists and Krause one.
Goalie Wesley Janson stopped 14 shots for W-DC, which outshot the Blades 37-15.
The Wolverines (7-8-0) host Bagley/Fosston at 7 p.m. Thursday.
