WADENA — Mitchell Swanson scored two goals and collected an assist as the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines lost to the Fergus Falls Otters 8-6 in Tuesday’s Section 6-1A matchup.
Other W-DC goals were by Christian Berg, Bridger Pettit, Tyler Winkels and Jake Krause.
Pettit added three assists, and Berg, Mike Paavola and Shane Motschenbacher each collected one as the Wolverines lost for the fourth time in the last five games.
Cody McManigle stopped 28 of 36 Fergus Falls shots.
