BIWABIK — Mount Ski Gull’s Calvin Madison took second place in the boys 10-11-year-old division when the Mount Ski Gull Alpine Team participated in Sunday’s Northland Junior Race Series event at Giants Ridge.
Madison’s time was 1:07.13, slightly less than two seconds short of the first-place position.
Twenty racers represented the Mount Ski Gull Alpine Race Team from the Brainerd area.
Mount Ski Gull will host the next scheduled NJRS race at 11 a.m. Jan. 20.
