Area Dance Team: Rangers win high kick

The Crosby-Ironton Rangerettes dance team scored 312 total points/3 rank points to win the high kick competition at Belle Plaine Saturday.

Renville County West was second with 303 total points/6 rank points and third place went to Richfield with 240 total points/10 rank points.

C-I & Renville County West tied for first in the Jazz competition. Both with a rank point total of 5.

Although C-I had more total points, after the tiebreaker, RCW claimed one more rank point for the win. Scores were Renville County West 294 total points/5 rank points/after tie-breaker 8 rank points; Crosby-Ironton 299 total point/5 rank points/after tie-breaker 9 rank points. Norwood Young America was third with 257 total points/8 rank points.

C-I will compete at the Northern Lights Conference jazz competition Monday in Pierz.
