LUVERNE — After surrendering two early goals, Blue Devils goalie Angela Hanson shut down the Luverne Cardinals for the rest of the game and Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Wadena-Deer Creek rallied for a 5-2 non-conference victory Friday night.
Hanson finished with 34 saves with Luverne holding a 36-24 shots on goal advantage.
Scoring goals for LP-GE/WDC were Morgan Zeise, Brooke Umland, Ashlee Helseth, Halley Maas and Samantha Killian.

LONG PRAIRIE — Zara Einerwold and Katelyn Barthel scored for Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Wadena-Deer Creek in a 6-2 loss to River Lakes Thursday in a game that was postponed Dec. 15 by inclement weather.
Einerwold was assisted by Sam Killian. Barthel was assisted by Abigail Ecker.
Angela Hanson made 38 saves for the Blue Devils.
