HOLDINGFORD — Kayla Carter collected 20 points and grabbed 11 boards for Pierz as the Pioneers edged Holdingford 79-65 in Friday’s Central Minnesota Conference game.

Pierz netted 23 of 28 from the charity stripe. Mickey Rocheleau added 18 points and seven rebounds while Bridget Bednar added 16 points and six rebounds.

Melissa Paulson added eight points and Mikayla Michaletz six for the 9-2 Gobblers.
