PEQUOT LAKES — Kayla Miller topped all scorers with 17 points to lead the Pequot Lakes Patriots to Tuesday’s 59-38 non-conference win over rival Pine River-Backus.
It’s the ninth-straight victory over the Patriots over the Tigers. The last time the Tigers defeated Pequot Lakes was Feb. 3, 2007.
Katie White added 11 points and Jessica Kreitz 10 for the Patriots, who improve to 6-1.
Brittany Kelley led the 4-2 Tigers with 11 points.
