ST. MICHAEL — Jack Sauer’s 31 points highlighted Brainerd’s 69-60 road win over the St. Michael-Albertville Knights Thursday in a Section 8-4A matchup.
Marcus Comstock added 18 points for the 3-0 Warriors.
“It was our first road game and it was not a pretty game” said Warriors head coach Scott Stanfield. “We were kind of lost without Jacob Blong, who was out most of the game due to a tailbone injury sustained while playing against Sartell, and that hurt us a lot throughout the game. Our kids on the road really fought and played it out and got a win.”
Chris Bowman added nine points for Brainerd.
