Two Brainerd boxers are scheduled to compete in the season’s first Golden Gloves Boxing card at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Wadena Armory.
The main event will match Brainerd’s Blake Herron against Wadena’s T.J. Steward at 145 pounds.
Brayden Campbell of the Golden Lakes Boxing Club will make his debut at 150 pounds.
Twelve bouts are being scheduled and will feature boxers from Willmar, Leech Lake, Detroit Lakes, St. Cloud and Fergus Falls, in addition to Brainerd and Wadena.
Other Wadena boxers scheduled to fight include John Johnson (135), Kevin Harper (120), Albert Boldt (125), Cole Cottrell (163), Kira Ollila (152), and Emily Boldt (110).
