Verndale Pirates senior Dallas Ehrmantraut was selected to the Minnesota Nine-Man All-State Football Team.
Ehrmantraut was selected as a defensive back. He finished the season with 61 solo tackles, 129 total tackles. He added three interceptions, one sack, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
The three-year varsity player and All-Pheasant Conference and All-Section 4 selection also played receiver and running back for Verndale.
Other defensive selections were linemen Steffan Stroh (Underwood), Tanner Lyberg (Kittson County Central), linebackers Tyler Lyberg (Kittson County Central, Carter Thiel (Wheaton), Perry Stejskal (Grand Meadow), Leevi Leibold (Onamia), Logan Nordly (Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley) and defensive backs Jason Montonye (C-G-B), Dalton Bass (Hills-Beaver Creek) and Robby Hine (Nevis).
Making the offensive team were quarterbacks Isaac Heard (Edgerton Ellsworth), Trenton Bleifus (Grand Meadow) and Collin Huckbody (Nevis), running backs Daniel Haugen (Stephen-Argyle-Central), Zach Lovedahl (Big Fork), Austin Maanum (C-G-B) and Daniel Polansky (Goodridge/Grygla-Gatzke), receivers Bryce Benson (Grand Meadow) and Evan Guffey (Nicollet) and linemen Robbie McQuade (South Ridge) and Ethan Chase (C-G-B).
