The Crosby-Ironton Rangerettes varsity dance team scored 272 points (3 rank points) to capture top honors in the Class 1A high kick competition at the Apple Valley Invite Saturday.
The Rangerettes competed against seven teams, with PACT tallying 259 points (7 rank points) for second place. St. Charles with 241 points (9 rank points) finished third.
“The girls have worked really hard for this and we are off to a good start for our season,” said C-I head coach Nikki Wassen.
The C-I junior varsity team finished fourth in their division at Apple Valley.
The Rangerettes will travel to Pine River-Backus on Thursday, Dec. 13, for the Northern Lights Conference high kick competition, which begins at 7 p.m.
