BREEZY POINT — Kegan Couture scored two goals as the Northern Lakes Lightning blanked the Becker-Big Lake Eagles 3-0 in a non-conference game Saturday.

Kyle Narveson scored the Lightning’s other goal. Ben Moe, Nick Blanchette, Austin Mesebrink and Gaven Bickford added assists.

Mitch Stangel had 22 saves for Northern Lakes.

INTERNATIONAL FALLS — Austin Bjorge notched two goals and two assists to lead Class 1A’s 10th-ranked Little Falls Flyers in a 5-1 victory over the No. 18 International Falls Bronkos in a non-conference game Saturday.

Ben Newman, Thomas Miller and Nathan Adamietz scored the other Flyer goals.

Luke Majerle recorded an assist and Miller and Newman each received an assist.

Flyers goalie Michael Stumpf saved 37 shots.

EVELETH — Mitchell Swanson scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, for the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines in a 5-4 victory over the Eveleth-Gilbert Bears in a non-conference game Saturday.

Mike Behl, Bridger Pettit and Dylan Phillips scored the other goals for W-DC.

Christian Berg and Jake Krause each added two assists and Behl, Pettit and Phillips had one each.

Cory McManigle saved 28 shots for the Wolverines.

Christian Berg and Otto Asp each collected three assists, Pettit added two and Swanson, Behl and Phillips each earned one.

Wesley Janson stopped all 17 Ely shots while W-DC fired 42.
