The Brainerd junior varsity Silver team finished third in the Central Mnnesota Conference Tournament Nov. 10 at Southway Bowl in St. Cloud.
Brainerd defeated St. Cloud Cathedral 3-0 and lost to Sauk Rapids 3-2.
Kelsy Warta, Sarah LeMire, and Eli Gabrio led the Warriors against Cathedral with 75-percent fills.
Against Sauk Rapids, Brainerd won the first match and Sauk Rapids came back to win the next two matches by two pins.
Raychel Raddatz (75 percent), LeMire (70 percent), and Warta and Gabrio with 60-percent fills led Brainerd. LeMire had 71.4 percent fills for the day. Brainerd Silver travels to Maplewood Lanes Sunday, Nov., 18, to compete for a possible berth in the state tournament Dec. 2 at Louisville Lanes in Shakopee.
