Brainerd High School graduate Reid Mimmack of the Jamestown (N.Y.) Ironmen ranks eighth among goalies in the North American Hockey League.
In 14 games, all starts, Mimmack has compiled a 12-2-0 record with one shutout, a 2.12 goals-against average and .922 save percentage.
Mimmack, who has logged more than 794 minutes in net, has helped the Ironmen to the North Division lead and a 15-3 record (32 points) with two overtime losses. He was traded from Aberdeen (S.D.) to Jamestown in the summer.
Through Wednesday’s games, Jamestown ranked second in the 24-team league with an .800 winning percentage, trailing only Wenatchee’s .806.
Jamestown plays at Port Huron, Mich., Friday, Nov. 16.
