The Central Lakes College Raiders continued the growing process Saturday afternoon with a 74-67 loss to Bismarck State at the Brainerd campus.

Sierra Benning led the Raiders with 17 points on 5-of-7 shooting. Lindsay Monson and Jalyn Lamb each added 15 points for the Raiders.

“We played a lot better, but the turnovers really hurt us today,” said Raiders head coach Dennis Eastman. “We were close and it was a good situation for us. Now we know how it feels to be in those pressure situations.”

The Mystics used a strong shooting game on Friday night to defeat CLC 78-50. In that game, Chloe Gunville and Julia Davis combined for 38 points for the Mystics. On Saturday, the Raiders held those two to 22 points and Bismarck State shot just 2-4 from 3-point range.

CLC did continue its struggle from the outside finishing with 1-9 from 3-point range.
