ELK RIVER — Fallon Ryan swam her way to a Brainerd High School record in the 200 freestyle by beating her previous record as the Warriors sent all relay teams and eight individuals to the Section 8-2A finals following Friday’s prelims.
Ryan also topped the 500 freestyle for Brainerd while Hannah McKeag broke her previous school record in the 100 backstroke.
Reilly Peterson, Alyssa Williams, Erica Rehnbom, Sydney Erickson, Lauren Forsythe, and Allison Crum each qualified for the finals in their respective events.
“We really swam well. Every swimmer had a season-best time and we were thrilled with that,” said Warriors head coach Dan Anderson.
