Northland sweeps Central Lakes for Region 13B title
The Northland Pioneers were virtually flawless in all aspects of the sport as they swept the Central Lakes College Raiders 25-14, 25-19, 25-15 in the Region 13B championship match Saturday afternoon at CLC.
Northland led virtually from start to finish in each of the three games and repeated as region champion. The Pioneers will return to the NJCAA Division III national tournament Nov. 9-10 in Rochester where they finished fifth in 2011.
CLC finishes its season with a 22-7 record.
