HOLDINGFORD — Jacob Krause delivered the No. 7-seeded Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines’ only scoring play in a 51-6 loss to the No. 2 Holdingford Huskers in the Section 6-2A quarterfinals Tuesday night.
The Wolverines, who have not won a playoff game in more than 10 years, finished their season 2-7.
Jon Skwira’s 100-yard, two-touchdown rushing performance helped propel the Huskers to the victory and their upcoming semifinals battle against Pierz Saturday.
