Two Raiders honored
Alanna Hansen and Tiffany Hartung of the Central Lakes College Raiders were named Minnesota College Athletic Conference volleyball players of the week ending Oct. 13.
Hansen, a sophomore from Brainerd, was named the hitter of the week as she helped the Raiders clinch the Northern Division championship last week. She had 39 kills (3.9 per game) with only seven errors in 68 attempts (.471 attack percentage). She added 11 blocks, including six in a key match against Itasca, where she also tallied 17 kills.
Hartung, a freshman from Holdingford, recorded 116 set assists (11.6 per game average). She finished with 48 assists against Itasca.
