LITTLE FALLS — Homecoming is a time to put on a show and make the returning alumni proud and the Little Falls Flyers did just that eking out a 33-32 win over the Mora Mustangs after trailing 26-12 at halftime in Friday’s Granite Ridge Conference game.

Colin Eckman returned the opening kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown, but the Mustangs took over scoring the next 26 points. Jalen Wuchko ended the drought with a 39 yard sprint to close the gap at halftime.

Mora extended their lead to 32-12 midway through the third, but it was all Little Falls after that.

Spencer Fenske threw scoring passes of 23 and 12 yards to Eckman and Wuchko ran two yards for the final touchdown with 53 seconds left in the game. Thomas Bell kicked all three conversion points in the second half.

Wuchko finished with 213 yards rushing on 28 attempts and Fenske was 13 of 18 passing for 113 yards with no interceptions.
