Jared Adkins of Pine River-Backus and Devin Strack of Pillager were named Players of the Week by the North Star Conference.
Adkins collected 12 tackles and an interception in the Tigers’ win over Bagley Sept. 21 to earn defensive player of the week honors.
Strack was involved with several punts and made three kickoff tackles. He also contributed 75 yards and two touchdowns on five carries in the Huskies’ win over Lake of the Woods Sept. 21.
