Panthers spoil Pequot homecoming at Pillager
PILLAGER — The Pequot Lakes homecoming was not only dampened by the weather and a 54-12 drubbing at the hands of the Park Rapids Panthers, but the Heart O’Lakes Conference game had to be played at Pillager Friday night because the Patriots home field is under contruction.
According to Pequot coach Chip Lomiller, the Patriots turned the ball over nine times, five on interceptions.
Travis Jacobson scored on a four-yard pass from Jordan Redmond in the first period and Kyle Narveson on a one-yard run in the fourth.
