Pillager’s Travis Richards and Pine River-Backus’ Drey Loge were named players of the week by the North Star Conference Tuesday.
Richards was named offensive player of the week as he carried 14 times for 125 yards and two touchdowns against Blackduck.
Loge was named special teams player of the week as he returned a kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown. He also rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries and had six solo tackles against Walker-Hackensack-Akeley.
