MENDOTA HEIGHTS — Jenny Muesing of Brainerd finished with a 3-day total of 237 to win the first flight in the 41st Minnesota Women’s State Amateur Championship Thursday at Mendakota Country Club.
Muesing shot 81-77-79 to beat runner-up Jenna Janu of Minnewaska Golf Club by nine shots.
Sarah Burnham of Rush Creek won the championship flight in a 3-hole playoff against McKenzie Neisen of New Prague.
