CROSBY — Michelle Andres of East Gull Lake was the women’s champion and finished second overall in the Tri for a Cause with a time of 1:16.51 Saturday at Crosby Memorial Park.
Eric Carder of Brainerd finished third, Travis Miller of Nisswa was fifth and Matt Radniecki of Baxter sixth.
Brian Sames of Shakopee was the overall winner at 1:14.50.
Lakes Area Multisport, consisting of 34 individuals from the Brainerd lakes area, won the Tri Team championship with 94 points.
The event consisted of a 600-yard swim, 16.3-mile bike and 4-mile run.
