MONTICELLO — Beau Janousek survived a four hit, three run first inning by Monticello to throw five more innings of hitless ball to earn his first victory of the summer as Brainerd swept the Magic by scores of 9-3 and 4-3 Monday.
Janousek, Tory Miller, Alex DeRosier, and Logan McElfresh each notched two hits for the Warriors.
Jamie Stall picked up the win in the second game for Brainerd with 6.1 innings pitched before giving way to McElfresh, who picked up the two out save.
Austin Mau and Zachary Houle each had two hits for the Warrior sophomores.
