SAUK RAPIDS — Sauk Rapids scored five runs in the first and led 7-0 after two innings and went on to an 11-5 win over Brainerd Tuesday night.
Paxton Beadle was 2-4 for Brainerd with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored. Dalton Tibbetts was 2-4 with two runs scored. Blake Peterson was 1-2 with two RBIs.
Starting pitcher Tyler Miller took the loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked three, and allowed two hits and five runs, three earned.
Jagar Hanson pitched 4.1 innings, with five strikeouts and three walks. He allowed eight hits and six runs, five earned.
Logan Peterson pitched an inning, with two strikeouts and a walk. He allowed one hit, and no runs.
Blake Thiesse went 2.1 innings, with two strikeouts and one hit, and didn’t allow any runs.
