Blake Thiesse went 4-5 with an RBI triple while striking out the side in one inning pitched as Brainerd defeated Perham 8-2 Friday night at Adamson Field.
Logan McElfresh notched the win for Brainerd, allowing two hits in four innings of relief.
Paxton Beadle added two hits and an RBI double, and Ben Stall drove in a run for Brainerd.
Jagr Hanson started for Brainerd. In three innings he struck out three, walked five and allowed five hits and two runs.
