AITKIN — Jaron Brezinsky went the distance with a five-inning, five-strikeout performance, while helping his cause by going 3-3 with a triple, stolen base, two RBIs and two runs as Aitkin defeated Pine City 12-2 Monday in a Great River Conference game.
With the win, the Gobblers locked up the Great River title.
Jordan Chouanard went 3-4 with a pair of RBIs in the mercy rule win, and Nathan Ehnstrom added two hits and two RBIs for the Gobblers.
