Jenna Ruzich of Baxter and Zean Baker of Nisswa, both competing for Nisswa NW Biathlon, won events at Mt. Itasca in Coleraine on Sunday.
Ruzich won the youth women’s division, was the first woman overall and finished eighth in the 10-kilometer mass start race. She shot 2,3,0,2 and finished in 40:21.
Baker finished first overall, shooting 1,1,3,4 in 33:48. In third place overall was Ty Hadrits of Brainerd and Nisswa NNW with 1,0,4,1 shooting and a time of 35:07.
Next event will be the nationals at West Yellowstone, Mont., later this week.
