Families interested in participating in the Lakes Area Youth Soccer Association (LAYSA) summer travel program should register online at www.laysasoccer.org by March 15.
Registration costs will increase $20 after that date. Registration is needed now so teams can be formed.
Pricing is the same as last year. Age is calculated based upon how old players will be by July 31. For example, a child who is 11 now but turns 12 on or before July 31 would register as a 12-year-old.
Cost is $99 for players ages 9-12 (children currently 8 but turning 9 on or before July 31 may also register); $199 for ages 13-14; and $299 for ages 15-17.
All players will receive new uniforms. There will be an additional uniform fee of $60.
Teams will play in up to four out-of-town tournaments in June and July.
A parent meeting is scheduled at 6 p.m. March 29 at Central Lakes College. Parents will meet their children’s coaches, complete forms and receive tournament and fundraising information.
