MINNEAPOLIS — Mesabi Range swept the Central Lakes College Raiders in a doubleheader Tuesday morning at the Metrodome.
CLC lost Game One 10-2. Jared Hoemberg collected an RBI single in the sixth, Josh Edwards was 1-4 with an RBI hit in the seventh and Pete Lucken was 1-3 for CLC.
In Game Two, the Raiders were defeated 12-4. Jaron Hanson singled, doubled and drove in a run, Nick Jasmer delivered a 2-run single and Justin Kostecka contributed an RBI single.
“Some of our players are too amped up and some are too nervous,” CLC coach Pat Held said. “They’ve got to learn how to figure that out.”
