The Brainerd Warriors are seeded third and will host No. 6 St. Cloud Tech in the quarterfinals of the Section 8-2A tournament at 7p.m. Tuesday at Brainerd Area Civic Center.
In opening-round games at 7 p.m. Saturday, No. 10 Northern Lakes will play No. 7 River Lakes at Richmond and No. 9 Becker-Big Lake will play No. 8 Monticello-Annandale-Maple Lake at Monticello.
In other quarterfinal games at 7 p.m. Tuesday, the Monticello-A-ML/Becker-BL winner will play at No. 1 Moorhead, No. 5 Buffalo will travel to No. 4 Roseau and the Northern Lakes/River Lakes winner will play at No. 2 Bemidji.
Semifinals are at 7 p.m. Feb. 25 at the high seeds.
Championship game is at 7 p.m. Feb. 29 at Thief River Falls, Bemidji, Fargo or St. Cloud.
