Area Boys Hockey: Flyers win streak snapped

ST. CLOUD — Joey Hanowski scored one goal for Class 1A’s 13th-ranked Little Falls Flyers as they were defeated 7-1 by the eighth-ranked St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders in a Granite Ridge Conference game Saturday.

Flyers goalie Mike Stumpf saved 29 shots, but the Crusaders outshot Little Falls 39-14.

The loss, the Flyers first since Dec. 15, snapped a 13-game winning streak.
