Brainerd High School graduate Josh Archibald of the University of Nebraska-Omaha was named the Mavericks’ male athlete of the week ending Jan. 21.
The freshman forward tied for the team scoring lead last weekend with three points as UNO split a pair of games at Minnesota State. Archibald had two goals and an assist to raise his point total to 15.
His 10 goals this season rank third on the team, and he is second among UNO freshmen in scoring.
