Area Boys Basketball: Pillager wins third straight, improves to 6-1 in PRC

VERNDALE — EJ Ziegler scored 12 points to lead the Pillager Huskies to their third straight win, defeating the Verndale Pirates 58-51 in a Park Region Conference game Tuesday.

Cole Hunstad added 11 followed by Devin Strack with 10 for the 6-1 conference, 11-4 overall Huskies.

Josh Gilb led all scorers with 18 and Aaron Denny scored 15 for the Pirates, who are 3-3 in conference play, 4-9 overall.
