The Ski Gull Alpine team headed toward Lake Superior to race at Spirit Mountain in Duluth last weekend.
More than 130 skiers participated. The Ski Gull team took 23 skiers and brought home a number of medals.
Top Ski Gull finishers for 6-7-year-olds were, Lauren Kalenberg in ninth place for the girls team with a combined time of 1:44.21, and Evan Hutchison in second for the boys team at 1:25.74.
For 8-9-year-olds, Allison Krantz finished sixth with a 1:40.73 for the girls team, and Calvin Madison was second with 1:26.15 for the boys team.
Ten-11-year-old top finishers were Payge Fitterer in fourth at 1:19.33 for the girls, and Taylor Shelito in 15th with 1:40.35 for the boys.
Tristen Elsenpeter was the top finisher for the Ski Gull 12-13-year-old boys team as he came in eighth at 1:19.55.
In 14-15-year-olds, Hannah Moen came in third with a time of 1:09.95 for the girls team. Mara Williams was the top Ski Gull finisher in the 16-up group in second place with a combined time of 1:22.31.
Next race for the Ski Gull team is Sunday at Lutsen Mountains.
