WADENA — Logan Lange led all scorers with 20 points for the Pequot Lakes Patriots as they defeated the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines 62-57 in a Mid-State Conference game Friday night.

Nevin Greer followed with 15 points for the Patriots.

Evan VanErp scored 17 for the Wolverines, followed by Ben Birch who added 16 points and 10 rebounds.

AITKIN — Nathan Ehnstrom finished with 17 points, and the Aitkin Gobblers ended a two-game losing streak with a 52-31 victory over Rush City in Great River Conference action Friday night.

The Gobblers avenged an earlier season opening loss to the Tigers as Danny Dally and Alex Anderson added 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Daniel Newton tallied 14 points to lead the Hornets.
